Peepeekisis Community Hub

Beam Craft was honored to be selected as the mass timber installation crew for this long awaited building.  This was our first building project with general contractor, CCR Construction (Regina) and we are thankful for the opportunity to meet their team and work together on a facility that will have an impact on the community for years to come.  Reimagine and Fast & Epp consulting teams created a challenging design representing a Medicine Wheel.  It was a unique challenge for our installation crew and was satisfying to see this circular structure take shape with each stage of the development.  Mass timber manufacturer, Western Archrib, provided the glulam for the post and beam frame and GLT panels for the roof deck.  Our team would like to express our sincere appreciation to the community members of Peepeekisis First Nation for having us work on this special building.  Many of our crew were also priviledged to be at Peepeekisis on September 30, 2021 to take part in the ceremony to remember, acknowledge and pay respect to the children who did not come home and the families who have forever changed.
