Scope of Work: 

Beam Craft was responsible for the detailed design, supply and install of the custom PSL column and beam structural elements along with the associated steel connections. Our team also installed the CLT roof deck panels over both PSL beam and HSS framed areas. This building typology has become familiar in the industry and we are becoming increasingly proficient at assisting General Contractors and Construction Managers with the integration of different structural elements. Our detailing expertise has been a great asset for being able to coordinate drawing sets and examine the various shop drawings from all the associated vendors. This is perhaps one of the most important steps in “de-risking” hybrid projects such as the Lethbridge Exhibition Park.

Our team is grateful to have been selected by Ward Brothers Construction for the Mass Timber scope of responsibility.  We were impressed by their approach to Construction Management and how they treated our staff throughout the entire process of tender, award, coordination and site work.
