Scope of Work: 

Beam Craft was awarded the supply and install subcontract for the scope of mass timber.  Products used were custom glulam tudor arches (Manufactured by Western Archrib), cross laminated timber (CLT) wall panels and glulaminated timber panels (GLT) roof panels (both manufactured by Kalesnikoff Mass Timber). Beam Craft coordinated the detailed delegated design work through specialty timber engineering firm, ISL (Canmore) to ensure that all technical requirements of this post disaster level building were fulfilled.  The many months of detailed planning, reviewing and sequencing of multiple manufacturers and suppliers paid off when our install crew mobilized onsite in October.  The install was executed smoothly and on schedule. This project highlights the efficiency of using mass timber in an industrial application.  Our team is grateful for the work and for the opportunity to use our skill sets in bringing this project to the client.
